MALAKAL — Upper Nile’s High Election Committee is recruiting election administration and voter registration personnel, Radio Tamazuj reported on Thursday.

The announcement covers a state Election Administration Officer, 12 constituency administration staff and voter registration personnel. Reported requirements include a degree or diploma and written English proficiency. Women are encouraged to apply.

Committee head Peter Mayom identified limited time, transport difficulties and staffing shortages as constraints. The reported application deadline is 5 p.m. on 24 October; applicants should confirm submission arrangements directly with the committee.

Recruitment is an administrative step, rather than proof that registration centres are operating. The next useful disclosures would identify appointed staff, training dates, deployment routes and arrangements for remote communities and people with disabilities.
